Multifamily Flooring Account Manager – Existing Apartment Industry Relationships RequiredTerritory: Washington DC & Northern Virginia

IMPORTANT — READ BEFORE APPLYING

This position is intended exclusively for candidates currently working within the multifamily apartment industry who already maintain active relationships with property managers, regional managers, service managers, and maintenance supervisors throughout the Washington DC and Northern Virginia market.

This is not an entry-level role and is not a training position.

Applicants without direct multifamily industry experience and existing apartment-industry relationships will not be considered.

Who This Role Is For

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager capable of generating revenue quickly through an established network of multifamily relationships.

The ideal candidate can begin producing opportunities within the first 60–90 days.

Required Background

Candidates should currently be working in one of the following industries:

Multifamily flooring sales
Apartment turnover services
Multifamily renovation or restoration services
Multifamily maintenance services
Multifamily construction services with direct property-level relationships
Multifamily vendor sales serving apartment communities

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Existing relationships with property managers, service managers, regional managers, and maintenance supervisors throughout DC and Northern Virginia
Experience selling directly to apartment communities
Ability to generate new business without a lengthy ramp period
Strong relationship-building and business development skills
Comfortable working independently as a hands-on individual contributor
Must currently reside within the Washington DC / Northern Virginia market

About the Role

This position focuses on developing and managing relationships with apartment communities responsible for unit turnover flooring work.

Responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining relationships with apartment decision makers
Identifying and closing flooring opportunities tied to apartment turnover cycles
Conducting regular property visits throughout the territory
Preparing estimates and proposals
Coordinating projects from estimate through installation and completion
Working closely with installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time
Driving repeat business and expanding existing accounts

Success Metrics

Successful Account Managers are expected to:

Develop and maintain relationships across numerous apartment communities throughout the territory
Generate new opportunities through existing industry relationships
Build a consistent pipeline of turnover flooring projects
Become a trusted flooring resource for apartment operators and management companies

Compensation

Compensation includes onboarding support and an uncapped commission structure.

The compensation range shown on Indeed reflects realistic total earnings potential and is not a guaranteed base salary.

Successful Account Managers typically earn between $100,000 and $180,000+ annually based on production, with top performers exceeding this range.
