The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Perform duties to include but are not limited to budget tracking, human resources, payroll, information technology and automation, communications (such as telephone coverage, office e-mail; inter-office mail; and general mail sorting and distribution), acquisitions, property, equipment, space, logistics, paperwork, records, files publications, security, travel booking for TFI Front Office staff, transportation, training, printing and graphics.
- Decide which actions are necessary for each functional responsibility and determine the priority related to other tasks.
- Serve as the office point of contact for the receipt, assignment, and tracking of correspondence received into the office.
- Determine the needs of the Office and take a lead in the procurement process for supplies and office equipment.
- As required and necessary, may prepare appropriate and adequate briefing materials for hearings and speaking engagements.
- Assist other senior level officials in the coordination of schedules and assembly of materials; participate in logistical support of functions.
