Assistant Property Manager

Are you an organized, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? A&G Management is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to help oversee the daily operations of one of our apartment communities.

This position is an excellent opportunity for experienced leasing professionals who are ready to take the next step in their career. As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll gain valuable experience in operations, financial management, resident relations, compliance, and leadership—providing the skills and experience needed to prepare for a future Property Manager role.

As the Assistant Property Manager, you'll work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the community operates efficiently while delivering outstanding service to current and prospective residents. In the Property Manager's absence, you'll confidently step in to oversee daily operations and maintain the high standards our residents expect.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will:

Assist with the day-to-day operations of the community.
Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
Process rental payments, deposits, applications, leases, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs.
Maintain accurate resident files and property records.
Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, online leads, and resident inquiries.
Conduct apartment tours and showcase the benefits and features of the community.
Prepare lease agreements and facilitate lease signings.
Coordinate resident service requests and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
Perform regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal and community standards.
Assist with marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and competitive market surveys.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports for corporate.
Assist with court filings and represent the company during court proceedings when necessary.
Support resident events and resident retention initiatives.
Stay current on Fair Housing regulations, company policies, and required training.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Friendly, professional, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A team player who can also work independently when needed.
Proficient with property management software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

3-5 years of property management or related experience required.
Leasing experience and knowledge of apartment operations preferred.
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management best practices.
Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
