Full Job Description

Craig Cody & Company is a proactive tax and accounting firm that partners with growing businesses across the U.S. We help entrepreneurs minimize taxes, strengthen cash flow, and make confident financial decisions through consistent, strategic guidance.

We’re looking for an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our remote team as an Account Manager. This role combines technical expertise with relationship management — you’ll oversee a portfolio of clients, review financials and tax work, and provide proactive insights that help businesses grow.

What You’ll Do

Manage a portfolio of business clients as their primary tax and accounting advisor.
Review monthly financials and tax returns prepared by our internal team.
Lead client meetings to discuss results, strategy, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with bookkeepers, accountants, and leadership to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Identify tax-saving opportunities and help clients strengthen their financial structure.
Stay current on accounting standards, tax law updates, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

Active CPA license (required).
7+ years of experience in public accounting.
Strong understanding of business tax compliance.
Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and cloud-based accounting tools.
Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple clients remotely.
