Full Job Description

Position Overview

This is a cross-departmental role reporting jointly to both Marketing and Procurement. This role will support all aspects of product information management from creation to execution, managing product data, and supporting cross-departmental coordination across multiple business systems and digital platforms.

This role helps ensure product information, pricing, configurations, and inventory visibility remain accurate, organized, and aligned across systems. The position is designed as an entry point into broader product operations and product management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Product Data & Information Management

Maintain and update product information across internal systems and ecommerce platforms
Ensure accuracy and consistency of product descriptions, specifications, pricing, SKUs, configurations, and inventory visibility
Organize and standardize product data to support accurate customer-facing information and internal operations
Review and validate product information across platforms to identify missing, duplicate, or inconsistent data
Assist with ongoing data cleanup, quality assurance, and process improvement initiatives
Support product categorization, tagging, and information structure to improve usability and navigation

Product & SKU Coordination

Support updates to product configurations, bundled products, and related item information
Assist with SKU lifecycle management, including product activation, deactivation, and updates
Maintain accurate relationships between related products, kits, and product groupings across systems
Help ensure product information remains aligned between operational and ecommerce platforms

Ecommerce & Pricing Support

Coordinate product listing updates and content changes within ecommerce platforms
Assist with pricing updates and validation across systems and sales channels
Ensure product content and system information align with promotions, launches, and sales initiatives
Support troubleshooting related to product setup, product visibility, and ecommerce display issues

Cross-Functional Project Support

Participate in project kickoffs to support alignment on product information, timelines, and operational needs
Assist with product allocation tracking for promotions, launches, and customer initiatives
Partner with procurement and operations teams to confirm product availability and readiness
Help identify potential issues related to product setup, inventory visibility, or data consistency during active projects

Cross Department Collaboration

Work closely with marketing, procurement, and operations teams
Support execution of product launches, promotions, and ecommerce initiatives
Serve as a coordination point for product, pricing, and system-related updates
Help maintain alignment between customer demand, product information, and operational systems

Qualifications

Experience with ecommerce platforms, ERP systems, or inventory-related systems
Comfort level working with structured data, spreadsheets, databases
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities in fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills (Minimum two years preferred)

Understanding of product catalogs, SKU structures, or ecommerce product organization
Experience maintaining product information or coordinating data across multiple platforms
Intermediate Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
Familiarity with ecommerce, inventory, or operational systems such as BigCommerce, Acumatica, or similar platforms is a plus
Interest in product operations, product management, ecommerce systems, or business operations

Success Metrics

Accuracy and consistency of inventory and product data across systems
Timeliness and quality of pricing, product, and ecommerce updates
Reduction in data discrepancies and operational errors
Effective support of product launches and cross-functional initiatives
Improved coordination between systems, sales activity, and product availability

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
