Full Job Description

Markage is looking for a Director of Sales – United States to join our fully remote leadership team.

You will own full responsibility for new business revenue across the United States. This includes leadership of the entire U.S. sales organization, from Regional Sales Managers down to Account Executives.

You will be accountable for hitting and exceeding revenue targets, building a high-performance sales culture, and ensuring the team consistently acquires the right quality of Studio Access clients. You will set the sales strategy, enforce process discipline, coach leaders and individual contributors, and own the forecasting accuracy that leadership depends on.

This is not a passive leadership role. You will be expected to drive results through the team while remaining close enough to the business to intervene on critical deals when necessary. You will work tightly with Client Success and Studio Operations to ensure that what is sold can be delivered well.

This role carries direct accountability for the growth of the U.S. business. Performance will be measured on revenue, team productivity, pipeline quality, and the strength of the sales organization you build.

Essential Duties

Own full responsibility for U.S. new business revenue targets.
Lead, coach, and develop the Regional Sales Managers and the broader sales team.
Build and enforce a disciplined, high-performance sales process.
Ensure accurate forecasting and clear visibility into pipeline health for leadership.
Drive consistent productivity and accountability across the sales organization.
Support and close strategic or high-value opportunities when required.
Partner tightly with Client Success and Studio Operations to protect handoff quality and delivery readiness.
Hire, develop, and retain strong sales talent capable of operating at a high standard.
Create a culture of ownership, urgency, and commercial excellence across the U.S. sales team.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience leading a multi-level sales organization with direct ownership of revenue results.
Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing sales teams.
Strong personal track record in B2B sales and complex deal closing.
Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to operate with full ownership and high accountability in a fully remote environment.
Currently authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Holds a valid Dex Regional Certification (DEX-PFR) or higher Portfolio-level Dex credential in the Sales & Customer Success domain.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling services or capacity-based offerings.
Experience scaling a remote or distributed sales team.
Track record of improving sales productivity and forecast accuracy.
Experience working closely with Client Success and Delivery leadership.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
