Job description
JENNMAR Services, a staffing company specializing in employee placement for the energy industry, is currently seeking Experienced Underground Coal Miners for the Carbon and Emery County areas. These are full-time positions with competitive salary and benefits available.
Basic Job Duties for Underground Coal Miner:
- Belt moves; removal of belt structure
- Bolter Operators
- Shuttle Car Operators
- Miner Operators
- Installation and removal of monorail
- All tasks necessary to advance development section and retreat longwall sections
- Fan and Power moves
- Set timbers
- Build cribs and stoppings
- Other laborer duties as required
Job Requirements Underground Coal Miner:
- At least 1 year of Underground Mining
- MSHA Certification (Preferred) (We can train if necessary).
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability / willingness to work any shift assigned (days, swings and graves (Required)
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, and background check.
Physical Requirements for the Underground Coal Miner:
- Ability to work up to 12 hour shifts, both days or nights
- Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to kneel, bend and stoop down for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to work free of any medications, OTC drugs, or other supplements that impede concentrations, focus, judgment, observation, or otherwise perform all work tasks safely.

All duties and responsibilities must be conducted in a safe, clean and productive manner. It is a requirement to comply with all Health and Safety requirements established by JENNMAR Services.

Compensation of the Underground Miner:
$28-$36 DOE
