Global EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) & Training Systems Manager is responsible for designing, maintaining, implementing, and optimizing EHS, including fleet management and training systems, processes, and tools across a multi-site, multi-country drilling products business. Reporting to the Global ESG Director, this role ensures that EHS and training systems effectively support regulatory compliance, workforce competency, and continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.
This position drives the standardization and effectiveness of EHS management systems, incident and compliance tracking, performance metrics, and global training platforms. The role partners closely with the ESG Director, plant managers, country EHS leaders, HR, legal and functional stakeholders to ensure training programs are role-based, auditable, and aligned with operational risks, while EHS systems enable consistent execution and performance improvement across all sites.
Global EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) & Training Systems Manager also supports the company’s ESG program by ensuring accurate safety and environmental global data collection, validation, and reporting readiness for leading and lagging indicators, emissions, energy, water, and waste.
Key Responsibilities
1. EHS Systems Implementation: Support the design, implement and maintain standardized EHS management systems, incident management, and compliance tracking processes; ensure systems are practical, scalable, auditable, aligned with operational and regulatory requirements. Support the maintenance, updating, and translation of EHS governance documents.
2. Training Systems and Competency Management: Manage and continuously improve global EHS training systems and platforms; establish and maintain training matrices, role-based competencies, certifications, and refresher requirements; ensure training records are accurate, current, and audit-ready across all sites. Drive adoption of best practices in system utilization and competency management.
3. Compliance and Regulatory Support: Support the implementation of compliance frameworks by maintaining systems that track regulatory requirements, permits, inspections, and corrective actions; ensure visibility and accountability across operations.
4. Incident Management and Reporting Systems: Administer global incident management systems; ensure incidents are accurately reported, categorized, investigated, and closed with appropriate corrective and preventive actions; support root cause analysis and trend reporting.
5. Metrics, Dashboards, and Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain EHS performance dashboards and KPIs (leading and lagging indicators); provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement across sites.
6. Environmental Data Systems and ESG Reporting Support: Support environmental data systems and processes to ensure accurate collection, validation, and reporting of emissions, energy, water, fuel, and waste data; maintain audit-ready documentation and support ESG reporting and assurance activities, including Scope 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3 metrics.
7. Auditing and Continuous Improvement: Support internal and external audits by ensuring EHS systems and training records are complete, accurate, and auditable; maintain action registers and drive closure of findings; identify opportunities to standardize and improve processes.
8. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with plant managers, regional and country EHS leaders, HR, operations, IT, and ESG stakeholders to ensure effective use and continuous improvement of EHS and training systems; provide guidance and technical support to site users.
9. System Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve usability, and enhance data quality within EHS and training systems; support implementation of enhancements and continuous system improvement initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies

Qualifications & Certifications
- Studies in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 experience.
- Relevant EHS certifications (such as CSP).
- Experience or training in ESG or greenhouse gas accounting (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064) is a plus.
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in EHS systems, training program management, or related roles in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments.
- Proven experience implementing and managing EHS and training systems across multiple locations.
- Strong experience managing training programs, competency frameworks, and compliance tracking.
- Experience supporting environmental data collection, validation, and ESG reporting processes.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and cultures; international experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with EHS, HR, operations, and leadership teams.
Languages
- Proficiency in English required.
- Additional languages such as Spanish, German, Polish, and/or Chinese are a plus.
Physical and Environmental Conditions
- Ability to work in industrial and field environments, including manufacturing sites, yards, and outdoor conditions with appropriate PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and perform site inspections as needed.
- Willingness to travel up to 5-10% domestically and/or internationally.
- Availability to support audits, system implementations, and business-critical needs.
