Full Job Description

OVERVIEW:

Rosing Davidson Frost law firm is looking to expand our team with a motivated and well-spoken legal assistant / paralegal. Ideal candidates will have a desire to pursue a meaningful career in law.

We are a general practice law firm that focuses on real estate, business litigation, and family law, among other areas. Our benefits package highlights our commitment to our team.

Option to work in the Park City or Salt Lake City office once training complete

DUTIES:

· Provide legal support

· Assist attorneys with managing case load

· Prepare, format and draft correspondence, various pleadings, and legal documents

· Accurately file electronic legal pleadings

· Bates stamp documents

· Utilize legal software for a variety of uses

· Track billable time

· Monitor case deadlines

· Maintain electronic files

· Research

· Proofread

· Assemble trial exhibits and binders

· Respond to client requests and needs via email and telephone

· Participate in client meetings, hearings, and trials

· Effectively liaison with attorney and client

· Accurately organize voluminous exhibits/documents/other legal pleadings

· Maintain/create hard files

· Communicate professionally with third parties, including opposing attorneys, court staff, expert witnesses etc.

· Other tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Associate’s or bachelor’s degree required;

· 2 years of previous legal secretary and/or drafting experience preferred;

· Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision;

· Excellent time management, problem solving and communication skills;

· Eagerness to learn and assist others as needed;

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

· Professional demeanor;

· Attention to detail and accuracy;

· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality;

· Proficient in Microsoft Office;
