Overview

Join our dynamic team as an IT Field Service Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing vital electronic and computer hardware systems across diverse client sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in electrical diagnostics, electronic equipment testing, and network troubleshooting to ensure seamless operation of critical systems. As a key player in our field service team, you'll deliver exceptional customer service while resolving complex technical issues on-site, empowering clients with reliable technology solutions. Your hands-on skills and proactive approach will drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction in every interaction.

Duties

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using diagnostic tools, schematics, and blueprints to identify faults accurately.
Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and electronic equipment to restore functionality efficiently.
Utilize hand tools, soldering equipment, and ohmmeters to conduct repairs, maintenance, and component replacements adhering to safety standards.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to guide troubleshooting and repair processes effectively.
Test electronic systems and computer hardware components to ensure optimal performance; conduct maintenance routines as needed.
Conduct field service visits to client sites for equipment installation, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating technical issues clearly, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout service interactions.

Skills

Proficiency with diagnostic tools usage for electrical troubleshooting and system analysis.
Strong electrical diagnostics skills with experience in AC/DC systems, low voltage wiring, and schematic reading.
Hands-on experience with electrical equipment repair, soldering techniques, and electronic system testing.
Knowledge of computer hardware components, networking fundamentals, and electronic systems troubleshooting.
Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics accurately.
Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols in diverse environments.
