Full Job Description

Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will play a key role in our call center by assisting patients with account questions, setting up payment plans, and providing thoughtful, attentive care. Job Responsibilities

Communicate with patients by phone to resolve account balances
Help patients understand their bill and assist with payment options
Accurately document conversations and collect and verify patient information
Interact with patients over the phone, aiming to achieve first-call resolution by demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism
Meet daily and monthly performance metrics including call volume and quality
Collaborate with team leads and trainers to grow your knowledge and effectiveness

Qualifications and Skills

Customer service mindset and strong verbal communication skills
Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle sensitive conversations
Computer literacy (navigating multiple systems at once)
Experience in a call center or high-volume phone environment preferred
Healthcare or insurance background is a plus
CUBS, EPIC, or similar platform experience is a plus
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Qualifications

Workplace Expectations and Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Professional appearance and conduct are expected at all times
PFS Group is a non-smoking workplace
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
This position is based on-site at our call center for the first 90 days
Remote work opportunities may be available after 90 days, contingent upon meeting performance, quality, and attendance standards
