Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing/Admin professional in Norton, VA to support a Wildfire Mitigation Project as well as provide general administrative support. This role combines high-volume billing responsibilities with day-to-day administrative coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, financially detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to management and project teams.
Process high volumes of invoices, including creating requisitions for each invoice as required.
Support billing functions related to the Wildfire Mitigation Project and general KU operations.
Maintain and manage the internal financial database to assist with financial planning and departmental budget execution.
Organize and maintain departmental files, including company reports, work orders, purchasing documents, and vendor invoices.
Distribute incoming mail and shipments and process packing slips within Oracle.
Monitor and maintain office, safety, and breakroom supplies.
Assist with travel arrangements as needed.
Coordinate catering services for meetings and project-related events as directed.
Oversee ordering and receiving of company uniforms.
Assist in developing and executing a plan to restructure the SharePoint Homesite (optional project).

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years of billing, accounting support, or administrative experience.
Experience processing high-volume invoices and creating requisitions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Oracle or similar financial systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and professionalism.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
