Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food prep tools
Assist with food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and assisting with special dietary requests or catering needs
Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling techniques and safety protocols at all times
Participate in high-volume food production, ensuring timely delivery of meals during busy service hours
Maintain organization of the kitchen station, including knife skills, ingredient storage, and equipment upkeep

Experience

Previous dietary aide experience or background working within dietary departments is highly valued
Proven food preparation and cooking experience in restaurant or catering settings
Familiarity with fine dining standards and high-volume production environments enhances your candidacy
Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
Experience operating various kitchen equipment such as grills, braising equipment, poaching stations, and food processors
Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in meal presentation
Prior roles involving food handling, meal preparation, or serving in the food industry will support success in this position
