Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, comprehensive knowledge of medical office management, and expertise in healthcare regulations. This role involves managing teams, ensuring compliance with health policies, and optimizing practice efficiency to deliver exceptional patient care. The Manager will serve as a key point of contact for staff, patients, and external partners, fostering a collaborative and compliant environment that aligns with industry standards such as AAAHC, OSHA, and HIPAA.

Duties

Lead and supervise healthcare staff, including clinical and administrative personnel, ensuring high-quality patient service and operational efficiency.
Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), patient management software, and other EMR systems to maintain accurate medical records and streamline workflows.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare regulation policies, and AAAHC standards.
Coordinate with medical providers on practice management issues such as utilization management, managed care, and acute or critical care protocols.
Oversee human resources functions including training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing patient concerns and improving overall patient experience.
Implement policies related to medical records management, medical terminology accuracy, billing procedures, and clinical documentation.
Facilitate communication across departments to ensure smooth operations within the clinic or hospital setting.
Monitor quality assurance programs to uphold healthcare standards and improve service delivery.

Experience

Proven managerial experience in a healthcare setting such as ASC, hospitals, or OR Settings.
Extensive knowledge of medical office management systems including EMR/EHR.
Experience supervising healthcare staff with demonstrated leadership in team management.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA regulations, AAAHC accreditation requirements, and health policy policies.
Prior experience in managing clinical operations involving acute care or hospital environments is preferred.
Excellent managerial communication skills combined with customer service orientation to foster a positive work environment and patient relations.

Education/Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Nursing, or a business-related discipline with BSRN.
Preferred 3–5 years of healthcare management experience, specifically in an operating room or ambulatory surgery setting.
Valid and current RN license
Strong organizational, and interpersonal skills with proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36.0 per week
