What You'll Do
As a Financial Services Professional, you will work with individuals, families, and business owners to understand their financial goals and help develop strategies designed to protect and build their financial futures.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a personal business and marketing plan
- Build and maintain a network of prospective clients
- Identify clients' financial goals, concerns, and priorities
- Conduct financial needs analyses
- Present appropriate insurance and financial solutions
- Develop long-term client relationships
- Utilize New York Life's technology, marketing resources, and Salesforce CRM
- Participate in ongoing professional training and development
- Develop expertise in insurance, retirement, and financial planning
- Pursue additional licenses and credentials for advanced planning and wealth management
- Build and grow your own practice with the support of an established organization
- Develop leadership skills and pursue future management opportunities
Licensing & Training
You do not need to have every license before applying.
New York Life provides training and licensing support for qualified candidates. Depending on the career path, support may include:
- Life & Health Insurance License
- SIE
- Series 6
- Series 63
- Additional licenses and credentials for qualified Financial Advisors
Licensing sponsorship and requirements are subject to applicable company, state, and regulatory requirements.
Accelerated Path to Management

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Life Insurance License: Preferred, but not required for qualified candidates
