Certified Medical Assistant with current Phlebotomy Experience

The AIM Center for Personalized Medicine is not your average medical practice. Founded by Dr. Tania Dempsey, we specialize in complex, often misunderstood conditions like Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Lyme disease, dysautonomia, and chronic autoimmune illness. Our patients come to us from all over the world after years of searching for answers, and our team shows up every day determined to help them find those answers.

Our state-of-the-art facility in Westchester County features a beautiful IV therapy suite, in-house laboratory, and a thoughtfully designed environment built for both patient comfort and staff wellbeing. The work here is meaningful, the team is close-knit, and no two days are exactly alike.

The Role

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant who genuinely enjoys variety. This is a float position, which means you will move fluidly throughout the practice each day, from the laboratory, to the IV suite, to the front desk to wherever you are needed most. If you are the kind of person who likes staying on their toes, connecting with patients, and being a go-to resource for your team, this job was written for you.

Phlebotomy experience is required. Having both IV infusion experience and laboratory handling experience is a strong plus and will be a key part of the role as you grow with us.

What You Will Be Doing

Performing blood draws and supporting specimen collection for in-house and specialty lab testing.
Assisting with IV infusions and therapeutic treatments in our IV suite
Preparing lab documentation, orders, and kits
Performing patient vitals, EKG, and orthostatic blood pressure testing
Receiving lab results and helping coordinate follow-up
Obtaining prior authorizations for treatments, radiology, and medications
Keeping patient records accurate and up to date in the EMR
Floating to the front desk to answer phones, assist with new patient scheduling, and keep things moving
Supporting providers with delegated clinical and administrative tasks throughout the day
Pitching in with supply inventory and general practice operations
Participating in team meetings and contributing to a collaborative work environment

What We Are Looking For

Licensed LPN or Certified Medical Assistant with active credentials
Phlebotomy experience required. Bonus points if you are the person your colleagues call for the hard sticks
Laboratory experience a plus
IV infusion experience a plus
Adaptable, upbeat, and genuinely comfortable wearing many hats
Warm and compassionate with patients who are often navigating difficult health journeys
Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
Strong communicator, both written and verbal
Comfortable with EMR systems, Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and OneDrive
High integrity, good judgment, and a team-first attitude
