Description

Sterile Processing Technician at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour Variable Shifts.

Responsible for collecting, cleaning, inspecting, wrapping, sterilizing and distributing instruments, instrument trays, basins and equipment. Performs work under minimal supervision.

Required qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Certification
Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or
Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.

Preferred qualifications:

1 year Experience in Sterile Processing Dept
