Position Summary

We are seeking an IRS Enrolled Agent to join our team in Murrieta, CA. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to represent clients before the IRS and state tax authorities, negotiate resolutions, and guide clients through the intricate tax resolution process.

Key Responsibilities

Client Representation: Act as the primary advocate for clients during interactions with the IRS and state tax agencies. Prepare and file necessary documentation, correspond with agencies, and negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve favorable resolutions.
Case Management: Analyze client tax situations, develop comprehensive resolution strategies tailored to individual needs, and meticulously track progress to ensure successful outcomes.
Client Communication: Foster open and transparent communication with clients, educating them about the tax resolution process and providing regular updates on their case status.

Qualifications

License: Active IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is required.
Experience: Prior success in representing clients before the IRS and state tax authorities is highly preferred, but we are willing to train a motivated, newly licensed Enrolled Agent.
Deep Understanding: In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and procedures pertaining to tax debt resolution.
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, tax authorities, and colleagues.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex tax issues, identify potential solutions, and navigate challenges to achieve optimal results.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with IRS software systems (e.g., IDRS, Transcript Delivery System) to effectively manage client cases is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 annually (based on experience)
