Full Job Description

Make a meaningful impact working with students in a supportive school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist focused on pediatric populations. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with educators, families, and professionals to help school-aged learners develop essential communication skills. Utilize your expertise to assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for speech, language, and related disorders in a vibrant and welcoming setting.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Speech-Language Pathology license in North Dakota, or eligibility to obtain
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Familiarity with IEP process and educational systems is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective carryover of therapy goals
Provide resources and training to school personnel regarding communication disorders
Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
