Full Job Description

Job Summary

Employment Alliance Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our internal team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across a high-volume staffing environment.

Position Overview
The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for managing payroll processes for a large, multi-state workforce. This individual must be comfortable working with multiple timekeeping systems, handling high employee volumes, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced setting. Pay DOE

Key Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll for a high-volume staffing workforce
Review and audit timekeeping data across multiple time clock systems
Ensure accuracy of hours, pay rates, deductions, and compliance requirements
Resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
Partner with recruiters, managers, and clients to gather and verify payroll information
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
Generate payroll reports and support internal audits as needed

Qualifications

2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in staffing or high-volume environments
Hands-on experience with multiple timekeeping or time clock systems
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data review, reporting)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with multi-state payroll processing
Familiarity with payroll compliance and wage laws
Experience working within a staffing or recruiting organization
Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience is helpful, but not required
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
