Millwork/Cabinet Installer
Job Requirements:
. Must have working experience with millwork, cabinets installation (minimum 3 years)
. Must have own car/truck and installation tools that are required to perform the job
. Must have field experience in measuring, installation and troubleshooting (minimum 3 years)
. Must have working knowledge of reading architectural blueprints, GC's documents
. Independent PLA, union members are encouraged to apply with flexibility and projects based
. Excellent calculation of millwork/cabinet estimates, and manufacturing knowledge
. Strongly focused, well-organized, and team-oriented personality in a fast-paced environment
. Exceptional communication and people skills
Job Responsibilities:
. Effectively at managing installations and meeting strict deadlines with multiple requests and projects at any given time.
. Field tasks include measurements, taking photos, meeting with counterparties, troubleshooting and walkthroughs.
. All jobs must be approved by the customers to be considered complete
. Diligently working with Senior management and team leaders on a complete project cycle.
. Collaborating and building excellent relationships with partners, vendors, and contractors
. Learning and gaining industry knowledge of new materials, trends, suppliers, and laws
. Continuing education & qualification of Certified Millwork Professional (CMP) and other professional credentials, license(s)
This position requires a strong background in construction estimating, including experience with various types of projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting construction projects while utilizing their skills in cost estimation, project management, and contract negotiation.
