Alleviation Healthcare Services, Inc. Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 | Full-Time | In-Office with Local Field Visits

About Us

Alleviation Healthcare Services, Inc. is a Medicare-certified, Joint Commission-accredited home health agency serving the greater Los Angeles area. We provide skilled nursing and therapy services to patients in their homes, and we depend on timely, accurate physician orders to deliver that care without interruption.

About the Role

We are looking for an organized, tech-savvy coordinator to own our physician orders process from end to end. You will manage the sending, tracking, and retrieval of physician orders and plans of care — ensuring every order goes out promptly, gets signed, and is returned to our office within 30 days. This is a hybrid office/field role: most of your week is spent managing the order workflow from our Sherman Oaks office, with periodic visits to physician offices across Los Angeles to build and maintain the relationships that keep orders moving.

What You'll Do

Send physician orders, plans of care (485s), and related documents to physician offices via DocuSign, fax, and courier
Track every outstanding order and drive it to a signed return within 30 days — no exceptions, no orders falling through the cracks
Maintain an accurate, up-to-date log of all orders sent, pending, and received, with clear follow-up dates
Follow up persistently and professionally with physician office staff by phone, email, and DocuSign reminders
Visit physician offices in person on a regular rotation to pick up signed orders, resolve bottlenecks, and strengthen working relationships with office managers and front-desk staff
Escalate chronically unresponsive offices to management with documentation of contact attempts
File returned orders correctly in the patient record and flag any discrepancies to clinical leadership
Support survey and audit readiness by keeping order documentation complete and current

What We're Looking For

Strong computer skills — comfortable learning and working in EMR software, DocuSign, e-fax, spreadsheets, and email daily
Hands-on experience with DocuSign (sending envelopes, setting reminders, tracking status) strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication — you can build rapport with busy physician office staff and get results without burning bridges
Highly organized and deadline-driven; you take personal ownership of a 30-day turnaround standard
Reliable transportation, a valid California driver's license, and current auto insurance for field visits (mileage reimbursed)
Home health, medical office, or healthcare administrative experience preferred
Familiarity with physician orders, plans of care, and medical terminology a plus
Bilingual a plus

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time, Monday–Friday, based at our Sherman Oaks office
Hourly rate: $27-$30 per hour, depending on experience
Mileage reimbursement for field visits
