Position Summary

Robinson Restoration is seeking an experienced HR & Safety Manager to lead our Human Resources function while owning and administering the company's safety and compliance programs.

This position plays a critical leadership role by partnering with managers to recruit, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring the company maintains a proactive, compliant, and safety-focused work environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong HR background combined with hands-on experience managing OSHA compliance, safety training, workers' compensation, and workplace safety programs. This individual will serve as the company's primary resource for both Human Resources and Safety, helping foster a culture where employees feel supported, engaged, and accountable.

Human Resources Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
Partner with department leaders on hiring strategies, workforce planning, and organizational development.
Manage full-cycle recruiting for field, office, and leadership positions.
Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Administer employee benefits and assist employees with benefit-related questions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Maintain employee records and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
Support employee engagement initiatives and help foster a positive company culture.
Coach managers on employee performance, documentation, and conflict resolution.

Safety & Compliance Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's safety program.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable workplace safety standards.
Coordinate and conduct safety orientation and ongoing employee safety training.
Lead incident investigations, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work processes.
Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, training documentation, and compliance reporting.
Schedule and facilitate regular safety committee meetings.
Conduct periodic jobsite safety audits and partner with operations to address hazards.
Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company policies remain compliant.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and workplace safety throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Experience managing workplace safety programs in construction, restoration, manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, and employment law.
Experience conducting workplace investigations and incident documentation.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, CSP, ASP, CHST, or OSHA certifications are a plus.

Preferred Experience

Construction, restoration, or skilled trades industry experience.
Experience building or improving company safety programs.
Experience leading safety committees and coordinating company-wide training.
Knowledge of DOT or fleet safety compliance is a plus.
Experience supporting rapid organizational growth.

Work Location: In person

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
