As a Payroll Specialist I, you’ll play an integral role in supporting payroll processing in the Workday ERP, assisting employees with payroll-related questions and helping to identify opportunities to maximize efficiencies and contribute to meaningful payroll projects.

Responsibilities:

Help process biweekly and weekly payroll for 45,000 employees in Workday
Review payroll data for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations
Support payroll processing activities including off-cycle payments, retroactive adjustments, and final pay calculations
Answer payroll related questions in Service Now, email and Slack, providing professional and timely customer service
Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and personal information while adhering to data privacy standards
Participate in Workday system testing, process improvements, and the implementation of new payroll functionality as needed, while documenting payroll procedures and maintaining accurate process documentation

Qualifications:

1+ year experience with payroll processing required
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict payroll deadlines
Ability to collaborate and provide support in a team environment while demonstrating strong communication and customer service skill s
Knowledge of federal and state tax and wage and hour laws
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Workday experience preferred
