Full Job Description

Elle & Co. Events + Bar is seeking a dependable, organized, and personable Part-Time Administrative & Event Assistant. This position combines behind-the-scenes administrative support with hands-on event work and is ideal for someone interested in event planning, hospitality, marketing, or small-business operations.

The right candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with clients and vendors, and willing to help wherever needed. You will support daily business operations while also assisting with weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, and other special occasions.

Responsibilities:

Assist with scheduling, email correspondence, client follow-up, and general administrative tasks
Organize event details, timelines, vendor information, documents, and digital files
Help create and schedule social-media and marketing content
Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and event staff
Assist with event preparation, packing, inventory, and supply organization
Support venue setup, décor placement, guest service, and event cleanup
Work as an event assistant, server, or bartender when scheduled and qualified
Help maintain task lists and ensure deadlines and follow-ups are completed
Provide dependable support to the owner as the business continues to grow

Qualifications:

Strong organization and time-management skills
Clear, professional written and verbal communication
Dependable, responsive, and able to follow through on assigned tasks
Comfortable using email, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and social media
Able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Positive, polished, and service-oriented
Able to work independently while also collaborating with an event team
Event, hospitality, administrative, customer-service, or social-media experience is helpful but not required
Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibility over time

Schedule:

Approximately 10–25 hours per week, depending on business and event needs
Administrative hours may vary throughout the week
Event work may include evenings and weekends
Additional hours may be available during peak wedding and event season

Compensation

Starting pay: $20 per hour
Event tips are paid in addition to the hourly wage when applicable
Opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement as the business grows
