Position Title: Field Manager (Limited Term Contract)
Reports to: Political Director
Location: Statewide (will be launching field across the state of Oregon, depending on our candidate endorsements)
Contract Period: 8/26/2026 through 11/20/2026
Classification: Full-Time; Limited term contract through 11/20/2026
Compensation: $38.75/hour, up to 40 hours a week

We started as a grassroots group of impacted mothers and have grown into a leading advocacy organization on gender and economic justice in Oregon. Position Summary:
We are seeking a Field Manager who will co-develop a winning strategy and oversee all logistical aspects of the paid and volunteer field program to ensure the priorities and plans are carried out. The Field Manager is responsible for creating, adjusting, and completing field goals. This position reports to the Political Director and will supervise 1-2 Field Organizers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support with the recruitment, hiring process, training, and retention of campaign field organizers.
- Provide volunteer canvassers and phone bankers with positive leadership culture, resources, guidance, and technical support required to succeed during each phase of the program while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Takes part in phone banks, digital events, textbanks, canvasses
- Engages people in conversation by going door to door
- Travel to assigned geographic territory and working in all weather conditions
- Achieve the daily contact and engagement goals individually and as a Field Team.
- Attends all mandatory onboarding and other training
- Support Political Director to monitor the field program budget.
- Ensure the successful implementation of advocacy technology tools, including VAN, Mobilize, relational organizing tools, and phone calls.
- Support Political Director to develop outreach universe, draft scripts, quality control, cut turfs, and launch field.
- Coordinate with endorsed candidate campaigns on field.
Required Skills & Attributes:
- At least three (3) years of high-level experience in electoral organizing, political, ballot initiative, and/or legislative campaigns, with an emphasis on planning and implementing effective field organizing strategies.
- At least two (3) years of experience supervising staff and volunteers in a political or field organizing context; demonstrated and proven leadership experience working in an organization that uses both professional staff and volunteers.
- Friendly and outgoing; excited to meet new people, build relationships, and bring them into the movement.
- Significant experience with and expertise in organizing/advocacy software and tools, especially EveryAction and VAN. Experience with GetThru, or other texting and calling platforms, or other relational organizing platforms, are a plus but not required.
- A history of working collaboratively and successfully with people and organizations from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds and a broad range of ideological positions and religious views.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Have a commitment to For All Families Oregon Action's mission and an understanding of the barriers mothers, caregivers, and women of color face.
- Commitment to gender, racial, and economic justice work.
- Have excellent time and project management skills.
- Access to reliable internet and cell phone service.
- Available for frequent and regular evening and weekend activities.
- Willingness to travel as needed to other parts of Oregon with some regularity.
- Access to reliable transportation.
Contract Terms:
This is a hybrid, full-time limited term contract position from 8/26/2026 through 11/20/2026. The contractor will be supervised by the Political Director.
