Production Specialist

Who We're Looking For:

TSMC Washington is recruiting Production Specialists to work on-site at our Camas, Washington location. As a Production Specialist you will be carrying wafers in small containers called pods throughout the production area to ensure production targets are met. You will be working in a clean room environment wearing clean room garments to protect the wafers from outside particles. Clean room garments include a full cleanroom suit, protective eyewear, gloves, hood, and a face mask. This is a physically demanding job requiring lifting, bending and long periods of standing and walking over a 12-hour shift. You could be walking up to 12 miles per shift.

Shifts:

TSMC Washington operates 24/7, 365 days a year. The shift structure is 4 days on/3 days off one week and 3 days on/4 days off the following week. Yep, that’s 3 or 4 days off every week! TSMC Washington also provides 2 hours of meals and breaks for each 12-hour shift.

Starting wage is $22.25 per hour. Wage below includes hourly starting wage with built in overtime and shift differential.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in a fast-paced team environment. Poduction environment is preferred (ex: fast food, restaurant, warehouse, manufacturing)
Stable work history
Demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and possess an attitude that embodies our core values - Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust
Be a strong team player with a can-do attitude
Good time management skills and able to adjust priorities as needed
Good communication and computer skills
Have situational awareness and be safety conscious
Must be able to exchange accurate instructions and feedback within high-activity workflows to meet production and safety goals
Must be able to detect and respond appropriately to safety cues, including visual postings and audible or signaled alarms within the work zone

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 15 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Work in a clean room environment with proper clean room garments (full cleanroom suit, protective eyewear, gloves, hood, and mask)

Be able to lift, bend, sit or stand for long periods. Able to walk and/or stand over a 12-hour shift. You could be walking up to 12 miles per shift.

Ability to work in a 24/7 environment with or without a reasonable accommodation. Regular attendance and reliability for this position is critical.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for employment at TSMC, candidates must successfully pass a background check and a drug screening. Please note, in compliance with Washington state regulations, the drug screen will not test for cannabis (marijuana) use.

GREAT PAY AND BENEFITS:

Starting base pay is $22.25. The salary range for this position is $19.35 - $26.15.

$23.84 is the average hourly wage with built-in overtime and shift differential for day shift.

$27.66 is the average hourly wage with built-in overtime and shift differential for night shift.

Benefits:

Additionally, employees can enroll in our 401(k) plan with an employer match and participate in the employee stock purchase program. Employees receive 12 recognized holidays per year and accrue 120 hours of paid time off annually their first year. Tuition Assistance Program up to $5,250 per year.
