Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Clerk to join our license office! In this vital role, you will serve as the backbone of our administrative operations, ensuring smooth daily functions and providing exceptional support across various services offered. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster an efficient, welcoming office environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for office management, customer service, and technical proficiency to thrive and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and directing calls using multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Perform data entry tasks accurately to issue identification cards, or help customers title new motor vehicle/marine purchases in their names.
Handle clerical duties including filing, proofreading documents, and managing correspondence to support office efficiency
Assist with bookkeeping tasks utilizing QuickBooks or similar accounting software to ensure accurate financial records
Support calendar management and appointment scheduling for staff and executives, ensuring timely follow-up and organization
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or email, offering support or directing requests appropriately
Maintain office supplies inventory, coordinate office management activities, and uphold a tidy, functional workspace

Qualifications

Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and basic technical skills
Experience with data entry, filing systems, and proofreading documents accurately
Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems and providing customer support
Previous experience as a receptionist, personal assistant, or in administrative roles is preferred
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of bookkeeping tools such as QuickBooks is a plus
