The Opportunity
We are a sought-after boutique CPA and wealth management firm serving entrepreneurial healthcare (especially surgical and plastic surgery practices), commercial real estate, and closely-held businesses. Throughout our continued niche-focus, we are expanding our Texas Triangle footprint (Austin → Houston → Dallas) while growing our Puerto Rico presence. We are seeking a Property Accountant to support the accounting and reporting functions for a defined client portfolio. This role bridges core accounting principles with real estate operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance, and actionable reporting to support property management decisions.
Position Overview
Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including variance analysis and budget-to-actual reporting.
Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy across property-level transactions.
Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax requirements, and industry standards.
What You’ve Done/Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field.
- At least 3 (three) years of prior experience in property and/or real estate accounting.
- Familiarity with property management accounting systems – Yardi and ResMan.
- Working knowledge of real estate accounting practices and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.

All Associates are provided their own office for full privacy and productivity (no cubicles). Further, our Operations team safeguard the productivity of our CPAs and tax advisors by handling calendaring, document follow-up, and other administrative tasks.
