Join our dynamic team in Sarasota, FL, as a CNC Fixed Headstock Lathe Operator! We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about precision machining and thrives in a collaborative environment. If you have experience operating CNC lathes and are eager to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC fixed headstock lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining operations.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC lathes to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
Proven experience operating CNC fixed headstock lathes in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a machining environment.
