Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Fluroscopy Technician to join our Orthopedic/Spine/Pain Surgery Center team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using C-arm equipment, ensuring high-quality images are obtained while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This role is crucial in supporting our medical staff in diagnosing and treating patients effectively.

Responsibilities

Operate C-Arm equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment and aseptic techniques.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs.
Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results.
Assist in emergency medicine situations within the operating room as needed.
Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technologies.
Participate in quality assurance and quality control measures to ensure optimal performance of imaging equipment.
Assist with turn-over of rooms, patient positioning, cleaning and redressing of patient stretchers and assisting other areas of the surgery center when needed.

Skills

Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, particularly C-arm spine technology.
Experience or knowledge in orthopedic/spine procedures is preferred.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations, particularly within a Orthopedic setting.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage patient records accurately.
