Refrigerated Transportation & Logistics

Sunrise Set LLC is a growing refrigerated transportation and logistics company seeking two part-time Sales & Customer Outreach Coordinators to help expand our customer base and strengthen industry relationships.

This role is ideal for either an experienced sales professional seeking meaningful part-time work or an ambitious person earlier in their career who wants to learn sales, logistics, and business development with a strong company and excellent support.

We provide training, ongoing coaching, leadership support, and a collaborative team environment. This is not a “sink or swim” sales role. You will have the tools, guidance, and team support needed to succeed.

About the Role

The purpose of this position is to turn referrals, event contacts, past inquiries, warm leads, and targeted outreach into qualified sales conversations and new customer opportunities.

We are hiring two part-time team members to work complementary shifts, allowing Sunrise Set to provide stronger coverage throughout the business day. Some schedule overlap will be built in for collaboration, handoffs, coaching, and team communication.

Compensation includes hourly pay, commissions, and team-based performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct professional outreach to prospective customers by phone, email, and other appropriate channels.
Follow up with warm leads from events, referrals, past inquiries, and existing company relationships.
Research and identify potential customers in target industries.
Build and maintain an organized prospect list.
Learn customer needs, shipping lanes, timing requirements, and service concerns.
Schedule discovery calls or hand off qualified opportunities to leadership.
Assist with introductory quotes by gathering accurate information.
Help prepare outreach emails, capability statements, service summaries, and follow-up messages.
Enter and maintain lead, quote, and customer activity in the company CRM or sales tracker.
Follow up with trade show and event contacts in a timely and personalized way.
Participate in weekly pipeline updates, coaching conversations, and team communication.

Ideal Candidate

We are open to two types of strong candidates:

Experienced sales professionals who have stepped back from full-time work for parenting, family, lifestyle, or personal reasons but still enjoy relationship-building, follow-up, and creating business opportunities.

Ambitious early-career candidates who may have less sales experience but are motivated, coachable, professional, and eager to build a career in sales, logistics, and customer development.

Strong candidates will be:

Professional, reliable, and organized
Comfortable speaking with customers and prospects
Coachable and willing to follow a sales process
Good communicators by phone and email
Persistent without being pushy
Comfortable using a CRM, spreadsheet, or sales tracking tool
Interested in business development, customer service, logistics, or sales

Helpful but Not Required

Experience in sales, customer service, account management, or business development
Experience in transportation, logistics, trucking, produce, food distribution, agriculture, or refrigerated freight
Experience with outbound calling, event follow-up, quoting, or customer onboarding

Compensation

Hourly pay: $23.00–$36.00 per hour
Commission opportunities
Team-based performance bonuses
Training, coaching, and ongoing support

Schedule

This is a part-time position. We are hiring two people to work complementary shifts that provide broader coverage throughout the business day, with some overlap for collaboration, training, handoffs, and team communication.
