ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER
Ventura, CA | Full-Time
(_To ensure reliability and team connection, we’re only considering candidates who live within about 25 miles of Ventura.)_
We strive to provide peace of mind through integrity, quality, and a passion for people who set the standard for our industry and that starts with how we mentor, support, and promote our team.
Set the Standard. Build the Legacy.
At Infinity Electric, we don’t just price projects — we build trust. We’re a Ventura-based electrical contractor known for our precision, integrity, and craftsmanship across a full range of work: from ultra-high-end custom homes and historical restorations to large-scale commercial projects including parking structures, tenant improvements, warehouses, cold-storage facilities, and car washes.
If you’ve heard of us before, it’s because we’ve been doing standout work for more than 18 years. And now it’s a new day at Infinity.
As of April 2025, Infinity Electric has entered a new phase: under new ownership, fresh operational leadership and partially employee-owned, we’re leveling up our systems, culture, and standards. New pay scales. New tools. New opportunities. And most of all a deeper investment in the people who make it all possible.
We’re looking for a skilled, motivated, and detail driven Electrical Estimator who takes pride in accuracy, communication, and helping clients find smart, creative solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and wants to play a key part in shaping Infinity’s next chapter.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial electrical projects
- Analyze blueprints, plans, and specifications to perform take-offs and identify scope gaps
- Determine material, fixture, and labor requirements to ensure complete, competitive bids
- Collaborate with project managers, field leads, and vendors to develop efficient bid strategies
- Attend site visits and pre-construction meetings to gather essential estimating information
- Communicate clearly with clients to define scope, negotiate pricing, and ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate documentation and use current drawings and data in every proposal
- Support company goals by helping refine estimating systems and processes
- Contribute to a positive culture that values people, integrity, and craftsmanship
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 2 + years of electrical estimating experience (required)
- Proficiency with Accubid estimating software is preferred.
- Ability to estimate and bid small to large projects, residential and commercial.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and blueprints
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized, self-disciplined, and able to manage multiple deadlines with urgency
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (estimation software experience a plus)
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean record
