Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Front Office Manager to lead our guest services team and oversee daily hospitality operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences by managing front desk activities, supervising staff, and maintaining smooth communication across all departments. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment, uphold service standards, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with strong hospitality management skills, multilingual abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence guest satisfaction and operational success in a vibrant hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries
Supervise and train front office staff to ensure adherence to service standards, phone etiquette, and hospitality protocols
Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, ensuring prompt and professional communication with guests and internal teams
Lead guest relations efforts by resolving issues promptly and ensuring memorable experiences for all visitors
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest services and facility operations
Monitor revenue management practices, manage hospitality operations budgets, and assist in financial reporting including night audit processes
Implement human resources policies related to staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, and team development

Qualifications

Minimum of two (2) years hotel experience as Front Desk Manager or progressive front desk responsibility. Strong English skills, both oral and written. Prefer multi or bi lingual.
Proven supervising experience in hotel or resort management with a strong background in hospitality operations
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically and effectively
Fluency in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities to serve diverse clientele is highly desirable
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams and fostering a positive work environment
Knowledge of hotel management systems, revenue management strategies, budgeting, and financial operations
Strong understanding of human resources practices within the hospitality industry
Previous resort or hotel experience preferred; familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems and uphold high standards of phone etiquette
