Executive & Philanthropic Coordinator — Part-Time
Santa Barbara, CA | Approximately 20 hours/week | $35–$60/hour + performance-based bonus

A Santa Barbara philanthropist and founder of an innovative nonprofit exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and art is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and personable professional to become a trusted partner.
This is a diverse and engaging role combining executive support, project coordination, social media, nonprofit activities, event planning, relationship management, and private salons featuring interesting guests and conversations.
You'll help manage calendars and communications, keep track of multiple projects and relationships, oversee social media, organize events, work with artists and community leaders, and make sure important commitments and follow-ups don't fall through the cracks.
Three mornings each week, you'll accompany the principal on planning walks that serve as working meetings to discuss priorities, ideas, and ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, appointments, communications, and follow-up
- Keep multiple projects, relationships, and commitments organized
- Help coordinate activities of the AI Artists Alliance
- Manage and post social media content
- Communicate with artists, community leaders, and professional contacts
- Help organize private salons and other events, including setup and coordination with caterers and vendors
- Assist with research and special projects
- Participate in three morning planning walks each week

Experience in executive assistance, project coordination, nonprofit work, events, communications, or social media is desirable. The right combination of judgment, initiative, organizational ability, and interpersonal skills is more important than a particular career background.

Location: Santa Barbara area; combination of in-person and remote work
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week. Some scheduling flexibility is available, but availability for three morning planning walks each week is required.
Compensation: $35–$60 per hour, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus.
