Lawyers and Judges Outfront to Organize Remote Conferences
PLEASE WRITE A BRIEF COVER LETTER ON WHY YOU'RE WELL SUITED
FOR THIS ROLE AND THE NETWORKS YOU CAN REACH.
Remote, $250/hour (Candidates will be paid 2 hours in total: 1 hour for preparation and 1 hour for co-hosting meetings)
Are you a lawyer or judge ready to step up and lead? Foul Ball Safety Now is looking for legal professionals to organize and co-facilitate critical discussions on challenging the all too familiar Baseball Rule and pushing for real reform. Legal peer review open discussions will represent that baseball business as usual should no longer be.
Looking for one courageous officer of the court to heed the call in a no-holds-barred free-for-all / call to action. You must be ready to act—to network, organize, and push forward legal solutions.
Your Role
- Co-lead and organize group calls with lawyers and judges prepared to take action.
- Use your vast professional network to bring together legal minds who will contribute to the discussions and solutions.
- Co-facilitate talks that move beyond the classroom debates and into truth and reconciliation initiatives, reparations, and legal action.
The Issue—And Why It’s Time to Act
The Baseball Rule has been debated in law schools for eternity, yet Major and professional league baseball still hides behind it while fans—including children—continue to be severely injured by foul balls and bats. We know the history. We know the harm. Now it’s time to openly debate and challenge the status quo.
Who Should Apply?
- Present and former lawyers and judges with strong legal backgrounds and networks.
- Those prepared to be out front.
- Legal professionals who believe in justice, fairness, and taking legal action to create forums for change.
This Is About More Than Baseball
It’s about justice, accountability, and public safety. It’s time to take inside legal knowledge and apply it where the chips will fall.
