Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a vibrant, efficient work environment. Duties

Support the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen activities, including food preparation, presentation, and service delivery
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure consistent quality and performance
Oversee food production processes to meet high standards of taste, presentation, and safety regulations
Assist with menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management to optimize food quality and control costs
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to cleanup
Monitor food handling procedures to uphold strict hygiene standards and comply with health regulations
Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment, preferably with banquet or catering experience
Extensive culinary expertise with a strong background in fine dining cuisine and food presentation techniques
Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to accommodate special dietary needs confidently
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
Experience in inventory control, food safety protocols, and kitchen management systems
Strong understanding of food industry standards including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles
Excellent communication skills paired with a passion for hospitality and customer service excellence
