BASIC SUMMARY:

The Loan Processor processes loan applications in accordance with Bank Guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare loan documents for closing for all types of loans.
Prepare loans for sale on secondary market, if applicable.
Processing, underwriting and closing of consumer and HELOC loans.
Communicate with attorneys and other professionals, as well as lenders, to ensure closings occur timely.
Maintain weekly and monthly reports as required by management.
Perform as a member of the Loan Operations team and provide assistance to others in the area as needed.
Process closed loan documents in preparation for loan set-up.
Report and manage tolerances.
Comply with Code of Ethics standards and all applicable bank compliance laws and regulations.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Salary Grade: 6- non-exempt, $18.00 to $27.00 Depending on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Education:High School Diploma or G.E.D.

· Experience:Two to three years related bank and/or customer services experience.

· Other: Must have demonstrated skills in: customer service, attention to detail, general computer/internet skills, verbal communication, integrity, people skills, thoroughness and documentation. Must be able to learn new software quickly. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English is required. Must be able to prioritize work to maintain timely processing of loan closing.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and work/type at a computer.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· General office working conditions, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

Rate of pay is commensurate with experience.
