Full Job Description

I. Primary Function: The Aggregate Gradation Technician is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate completion of aggregate gradation samples taken from our various production facilities.

II. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain safety while working within the lab using ovens, hotplates, and material washers/shakers.
Utilize various hand tools including brushes, scrapers, and dowel rods while maintaining lab equipment.
Maintain a high level of organization and take a proactive approach to improving lab cleanliness.
Complete gradations (aggregate particulate size summary) in a timely, effective manner.
Maintain lab equipment cleanliness including the sample buckets, Mary-Ann Shakers, and Ploog Material Washer.
Punctuality is a MUST
Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned

III. Required Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

IV. Preferred Education & Experience:

Basic Microsoft skills including Outlook, Excel, and Word

V. Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

Basic math skills (including Algebra)
