Job Title: Quality Administration Clerk
Position Summary
Provide administrative support to members of the Quality Organization which include but is not limited to Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, Quality Control, and Aircraft Certification Services. Administrative functions also include interaction with the FAA through aircraft certification and communication with Orlando MIDO pertaining to the operations of PC 206.
Essential Job Functions

- Perform administrative functions pertaining to the issuance of inspection stamps as well as the maintenance and upkeep of inspector records and documenting stamp infractions.
- Preparation of all required documentation associated with the certification of an aircraft completed by PC 206 for presentation to DMIR Inspector or personnel from Orlando MIDO.
- Assist with preparing and delivering aircraft certification packages to the records retention department.
- Provide support to Quality Engineers as necessary during investigations to find any aircraft production order that may be necessary for an investigation.
- Assist with administrative functions of CORE Inspection such as printing re-work orders, printing NCMR forms, and routing parts to the appropriate departments as necessary for rework or stocking in the correct storage location.
- Act as records manager for Quality Department.
- Perform all functions necessary as the Liaison between finance and Quality for major purchases, travel arrangements, contract calibration services, or on-site contractor calibrations.
- Generate any records and reports as required by Quality Management in order to support production status meetings and update Executives on ongoing quality projects.
- Assist with the planning and execution of the annual audit plan.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Two year educational / vocational training in aerospace manufacturing and administration practices, and three to five years Quality Assurance or manufacturing experience, or equivalent combination experience and education.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics including elementary statistics. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ability to navigate external web portals is necessary to perform the duties of this position.
- Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform and accomplish tasks. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel proficiency, is required.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to both office and plant environments. May be exposed to odors, chemical agents, dust, fumes, gases, sharp objects, hazardous or moving equipment, wet slippery floors, and extremes in temperature and humidity.
- Interacts regularly with various staff and employees, and occasionally with vendors, suppliers, community members and regulatory agency representatives.
- Travel and overtime are required when necessary.
- Supports all operational excellence initiatives ensuring full participation in all department services, continuous improvement efforts, and training programs.
- Maintains a safe, orderly working environment including FOD compliance.
- Ensures adherence to Piper Aircraft, Inc. corporate compliance policies.
