Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel Assistant Manager to join our hospitality team! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily hotel operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead a dedicated team to deliver outstanding service. Your leadership will drive revenue growth, maintain high standards of hospitality, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting while contributing to the overall success of our hotel.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily hotel operations, including front desk activities, guest services, and housekeeping coordination
Lead and manage hospitality teams, ensuring high levels of motivation, performance, and teamwork
Oversee guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring memorable experiences
Manage hospitality operations budgets, including controlling costs and maximizing revenue through effective revenue management strategies
Coordinate human resources functions such as staffing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations
Oversee financial operations including night audits, billing accuracy, and cash handling procedures
Maintain compliance with hotel policies and standards while ensuring excellent phone etiquette on multi-line phone systems
Support resort or hotel-specific initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency

Skills

Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff
Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel management industry
Strong background in hospitality management, including guest services and hotel operations
Expertise in revenue management, budgeting, and managing hospitality operations budgets
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and team leadership
Familiarity with financial operations such as night audit procedures and cash flow management
Experience managing hospitality teams in fast-paced environments like resorts or hotels with extensive front desk responsibilities
Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and maintaining professional phone etiquette
Leadership qualities that inspire team collaboration and operational excellence
