Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as an Assistant Kitchen Manager, where your leadership and culinary expertise will elevate our food service operations to new heights! Duties

Assist the Kitchen Manager in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and efficient workflow
Lead food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency
Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper food handling practices
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs
Support menu planning and development to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team environment
Coordinate with catering or banquet departments to ensure timely delivery of quality food for events or special occasions

Requirements

Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant supervision within a fast-paced environment
Strong background in food safety protocols and sanitizing procedures
Extensive culinary experience with skills in cooking, food preparation, and presentation
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams as a chef or kitchen supervisor
Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and food industry best practices
Excellent communication skills for effective shift management and team coordination
Experience in fine dining, catering, or banquet settings is highly desirable
Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a high-energy environment
