Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take on an exciting role that keeps goods moving efficiently across various routes. This position offers the opportunity to operate a range of specialized vehicles, including refrigerated trailers and dry van trailers.As a CDL A driver, you will be the vital link in delivering freight safely and on time, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

Safely operate tractor-trailers, across designated routes to deliver freight efficiently.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and securing loads properly.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Route driving to optimize delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes.

Skills

Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license
Knowledge of various trailer types including refrigerated trailers and dry van trailers
Excellent route planning skills to ensure timely deliveries across diverse geographic areas.
Good communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch teams and customers.
Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance in commercial driving environments.
