Veterinary Receptionist/Customer Service Representative

Double Oak Mountain Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.

We are looking for a compassionate, highly organized, and customer-focused professional who believes that exceptional client service is just as important as exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of veterinary reception experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, small team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting all clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
Managing a multi-line phone system, messages, and scheduling appointments
Managing a 3-4 doctor scheduling book efficiently and accurately
Discussing treatment plans, estimates, and payment options with clients confidently and with clarity
Processing invoices and payments
Maintaining clear, accurate, and detailed medical records
Coordinating communication between doctors, technicians, and clients
Assisting with prescription requests and medical record requests
Maintaining clinic work areas and overseeing inventory of sundry items and prescription diets
Providing outstanding customer service during both routine and emotional situations

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 consecutive years of veterinary receptionist experience required. Candidates without 3 years veterinary reception-specific work history need not apply.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with veterinary practice management software
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to remain professional, composed, and solution-oriented under pressure
