Jorgensen Associates, Inc is a professional engineering firm established 50 years ago in Jackson, Wyoming, with offices in Pinedale, and Alpine Wyoming. We are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our team, in our Jackson or Pinedale office.

This is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct geotechnical analyses, calculations, and design to support various engineering projects.
Provide technical oversight and mentorship to less experienced staff.
Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and executing geotechnical projects.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, budget, and timeline expectations.
Collaborate with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.

Requirements

Requirements:

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wyoming or ability to obtain licensure.
Proven experience in geotechnical engineering design, analysis, and consulting.
Strong ability to understand project requirements and execute defined scopes of work.
Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications:

Strong foundation in soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering principles.
Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate project requirements to team members and clients.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience presenting technical information to clients, managers, and the public.
