Traveling Commercial Ground-up Superintendent
Job Summary
100% Travel
Responsible for the daily operations of tenant improvement projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with plans and specifications. This is a traveling position. We currently operate in 35 states.
Summary/Objective:
Construction Superintendent to provide on-site supervision and management for General Contractor. Must have experience in ground up projects. Responsibilities will include scheduling trades, working with Project Manager to keep project on budget and schedule. Clear communication skills required to effectively work with subcontractors, building officials, and inspectors. Previous applicable experience is a requirement.
Essential Functions:
§ Ability to read and interpret all construction plans
§ Oversight of all subcontractors to ensure layout and accuracy
§ Coordinate trades properly to avoid schedule conflicts
§ Daily reports and weekly safety meetings
§ Receive and inventory deliveries to ensure Owner and GC provided materials are accounted for
§ Hold subcontractors to high level of workmanship
§ Ensure a clean and organized jobsite throughout construction
§ Self-starting individual ready to push the schedule while working well with team members
§ Manage inspection process & coordinate all required inspections with Local jurisdictions though Certificate of Occupancy
§ Assists the PM in managing project- Daily & Weekly reports - change order -RFI’s
§ Communicate with the subcontractors to ensure success of the project
- Assist the on-site superintendent and subcontractors through completion of the project
- Contact landlord and city representatives for rules, regulations, and requirements
- Coordinate vendors through all phases of construction including schedules and pricing
§ Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
§ On site field environment
§ Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
§ Ability to traverse rough terrain
§ Some exposure to loud noises
Education and Experience:
§ High school diploma required
§ Bachelor’s degree in construction management preferred
§ Valid Driver’s license and auto insurance

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
