Full Job Description

Overview:

The Condado Collection is a collection of hospitality properties in Puerto Rico ranging from classic and modern luxury full-service hotels, to fine dining and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, especially on the night shift.
Serving guests at the front desk while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
Assist with check-ins and check-outs, and any special guest requests during the night shift.
Reconcile daily financial transactions, including room charges, cash payments, and credit card transactions.
Prepare financial reports, and complete the night audit process in the property management system (PMS).
Prepare and deliver end-of-day reports to management.
Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and other departments as needed to maintain smooth hotel operations overnight.
Handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules, and standards.
Be knowledgeable about day and night hotel operations, check event sheets, bulletin boards and be up to date with all changes, new procedures, and events.
Follow all cash handling and banking procedures to check out all guests efficiently.
Be familiar with the AM/PM checklist to ensure smooth daily operations.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications:

Hospitality oriented
Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations, preferably in a night audit role.
Previous experience with OPERA, PMS, preferred.
Ability to work independently and stay focused during overnight hours.
Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays as needed, overnight shifts.
Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)
