Responsibilities
Depending on your specialty, responsibilities may include:
- Personal training
- Small group training
- Group fitness instruction
- Bootcamp coaching
- Pilates instruction
- Yoga classes
- Sports performance coaching
- Running clubs
- Mobility and stretching sessions
- Nutrition coaching
- Wellness coaching
- Habit and accountability coaching
- Client assessments
- Program design
- Progress tracking
- Building long-term client relationships
- Educating clients on healthy lifestyle habits
- Assisting with community events and workshops
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Current certification in their area of expertise (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, Yoga Alliance, Balanced Body, or equivalent)
- CPR/AED Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Positive and motivating personality
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Passion for helping others improve their health
- Sales and client relationship experience is a plus
