Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Echo/Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our multi-specialty group practice in Vineland, NJ. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic adult echocardiograms and comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations at our Sub-Specialty Center. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses excellent patient-care skills, and holds active credentials in both specialties.

Position Details:

- Job Type: Part-Time (1 day per week)
- Schedule: 9am - 5pm
- Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Training on our equipment will be provided

Key Responsibilities:

- Echocardiograms: Perform high-quality Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE) in accordance with ICAEL guidelines.
- Vascular Studies: Perform non-invasive vascular (carotid, arterial, aorta, and venous) studies in accordance with medical guidelines.
- Patient Care: Prepare exam rooms, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Documentation: Calculate measurements, produce preliminary technical reports for cardiologist review, and upload studies to the PACS system.
- Equipment: Maintain ultrasound equipment for safety and image clarity, ensure proper sterilization, and report any mechanical malfunctions.

Qualifications & Certifications:

- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography or cardiovascular technology program.
- ARDMS (RDCS and RVT) or CCI (RCS and RVS) certification, or a matching combination of one cardiac and one vascular credential from ARDMS/CCI.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in both Echo and Vascular.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong anatomical knowledge and the ability to work independently with a patient-first attitude.
