Full Job Description

Overview
In-Person work position in our Payson, Utah facility.

Join our dynamic team as a Microbiology Lab Technician and play a vital role in quality assurance within a laboratory environment. In this position, you will be responsible for performing microbiological testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest levels of accuracy, precision, and integrity in laboratory operations, supporting industrial applications.

Responsibilities

Conduct microbiological assays, including culture preparation, incubation, enumeration, and identification of microorganisms.
Perform routine quality control tests to verify the consistency and reliability of laboratory procedures and products.
Maintain detailed records of laboratory activities to ensure data integrity and traceability.
Follow strict laboratory procedures aligned with GLP, cGMP, and FDA regulations to uphold compliance standards.
Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure proper calibration, and adhere to safety protocols.
Maintain proper inventory of microbiology media and equipment.

Skills

Strong understanding of laboratory techniques including microbiology methods, and analysis skills.
At least 1 year experience working in laboratories with knowledge of FDA regulations and cGMP standards.
Knowledge of GLP practices to ensure proper quality control activities.
Ability to interpret scientific data accurately while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills combined with a solid foundation in math for quantitative analysis.
Proven ability to work effectively within laboratory environment that emphasizes scientific research, laboratory procedures.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
